Which Framerate for "Flipbook" Style Animation?
Hello all!
I just received new frames from our artist, Darrell, and compiled into these videos. I'm curious which version the community prefers. The first has a framerate of .15s and the second has a framerate of .2s. In both versions the framerate drops considerably for added drama, and I'd be interested in hearing how folks feel about that as well. It's worth noting that the animation here has a significant story impact for the player, so the pacing will be an important aspect. A slower pace works better dramatically, but obviously it makes it a bit choppier as well. These animations will be presented as "flipbook" style projections, so the roughness is intentional -- but I'd love to hear from you which sits better with you!
Framerate: .15s
Framerate: .2s
