Bird

Bird is a social impact game about mass incarceration where players discover and  collect real-life memories of my collaborator, Darrell Fair, an incarcerated artist and activist. Players will experience these memories through meaningful interactions, hand-drawn animations, audio interviews, and dynamic music. Bird is an intimate journey that invites players to themselves, what can I do to set this bird free?

Technical Specifications:

A downloadable (early) version of the game is available on both Mac and PC, but please note that only the Mac version has been tested.  You may encounter bugs or frame rate issues in either version of the build and, if you do, please let me know so I can fix them! If you are interested in playtesting please feel free to reach out!

Also note that a full playthrough of Bird is available on YouTube if you aren't able to play the game due to technical issues. 

Bird was tested on the following system:

• OS 12.6.3
• 64GB Ram

Note that getting around security settings on Mac is annoying. Please see the image below to download and install... it should work after typing one line into the terminal.
